At the dawn of the 25th century, the United Federation of Planets is facing an unprecedented challenge. The discovery of the Aetheria Rift, an unstable region at the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy connected by a wormhole, has opened a door to the unknown and a possible solution to the galaxy's energy crisis. The USS Vanguard (NCC-1701-K), a state-of-the-art heavy scout ship, is sent on a one-way mission to reclaim this new frontier. Under the command of a visionary Captain, the crew must navigate a sector where space glows with bioluminescent nebulae and time itself flows in a non-linear fashion.
