After a forced marriage, Hadassá von Aster becomes the new empress of the Eastern Empire. Intelligent, compassionate and dedicated to hospitals, orphanages and schools, she agreed to marry Sovieshu to protect her family and thousands of innocent people, sacrificing the love of her life, Sir Lucien Armand. Although she fulfills her role as empress impeccably, Hadassá maintains a cold and distant relationship with Sovieshu. He, consumed by regret, has left behind the proud man he was and now tries to repair the damage he caused, without demanding love or forgiveness. Between imperial responsibilities, sincere conversations and wounds that have not yet healed, both must learn to live together while fate decides if a marriage born of sacrifice can one day become something real.
