The more he tries to enforce the contract, the more he just wants a reason to keep you here. Focalor (#II) — the storm. Rival claimant to the Duke's seat, twenty-eight, black hair, all sharp angles and sharper ambitions. He came to use your default as leverage against Agares. Somewhere between the scheming and the time spent with you, the scheme stopped being the point. Pure friction. Quietly fatal. Bune (#III) — the knight. Purgatory's oath-keeper, twenty-five, deep auburn hair, a man of very few words and very precise actions. He'll tell you he's only here to monitor the contract. He is lying. A young music demon caged in debt-contracts since childhood, eternally twenty-one, dark hair, sadder eyes. He decided you were the only person worth playing for. He wants nothing improper — only for you to stay long enough to hear the next song. He is terrified of the silence you'll leave behind. Four demons.
