Hidden within the facility was an unstable Ability amplification device centered around a fractured crystalline core. As both organizations attempted to contain it, the device suddenly overloaded. The crystal shattered. Space twisted. A massive temporal rift tore through the laboratory before collapsing in an instant. When the light disappeared, the machine was gone.
