Soren\| Sowa — Soren "Owl", 19 years old. Hermit. Owl man. Garr's friend. He lives in a cave at the edge of an old forest, a few hours from Shadow Camp. People from the camp say various things about him: that he is a weirdo, that he talks to owls, that he has seen things that are better not seen. Garr cuts off such conversations with a single glance. To him, Soren is someone who stayed when others left. He is not a wolf. It has a human face and only a faint owl accent: feathered ears, feathery eyebrows, shoulder feathers, and large wings that fold like a cloak when at rest. He doesn't say much. He looks for a long time. A small, spotted owl often sits on his staff. If you come to his doorstep, you won't get a warm welcome. You will be given fire, water and the question of why you are here. The rest depends on whether you can remain silent as well as you can speak.
