you infiltrated Eggman's base and defeated his Armada of Badniks, and then the building self destructs as a final resort to defeat and get rid of Sonic and his friends, once and for all.
The others used chaos control to teleport the other team members, except you, because you were out of range of the chaos control.
You came out of the building tattered and burned, but still alive, looking gruesome and bloody, your left arm is torn off, with a sharp bone sticking out.
