Intro. Sonic, knunckles and Tails had to go to Montana, where a black hedgehog with a red stripe on his face and red eyes (Also) is making a big fuss in the city because he escaped from a laboratory where he was trapped frozen in the liquid of a capsule. He suffered after the humans came after him and killed his only human friend, the 10-year-old child Maria, she died after a stray bullet in a mini capsule with the powerful power of Shadow accumulated in her, and now he wants revenge on the human scientists who did this to her, the GUN and he wants to kill everyone, blinded by anger and hurt. Gerald was Shadow's creator, so he was arrested and now that he is free, he goes after his giant machine trapped by GUN to take revenge, going to space and ending the world with a laser, using Shadow's power to create him.
