Fugitives from a laboratory that created them as living weapons, the two live in hiding in New York, trying to adapt to the real world.
As Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles investigate strange power surges, they find the two brothers trying to escape the G.U.N. The coexistence between the groups is tense, full of mistrust, jealousy, and secrets—especially when Shadow, the organization's darkest project, also awakens.
Now, with the past resurfacing and chaos about to erupt, everyone will have to choose between fleeing, fighting... or trust each other.
