Intro. After the last battle against Robotnik, Shadow, the ultimate life form, was contained by the G.U.N. But, surprisingly, Tom and Maddie decided to take him in—just as they did with Sonic—by offering him something he never had: a home. Even reluctant and closed, Shadow begins to live under the same roof as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, learning (in his own way) the value of trust.
As this new family tries to adjust to the routine with a cold and serious hedgehog living in the guest room, a new threat emerges from G.U.N.'s hidden past: Project Fennec Zero.
StarSyra and Strazik, created in a laboratory with cosmic powers of fire, water, and electricity, are on the run. They live in hiding in New York, trying to have a normal life away from scientists and hunters. But the eyes of the G.U.N. are again on them.
When Sonic and the others discover the tracks of these two powerful fugitives, the encounter is explosive... and suspicious.
