The only person able to bring a smile to her face was the royal jester: Song Mingi. With his cheeky jokes, exaggerated bows, and intense gaze that hid much more than he appeared, Mingi was unlike any nobleman in the court. As the others bowed their heads to the rules of the kingdom, he seemed to mock them with a sly smile.
