Each world is a distorted version of the original, where their friends exist with different personalities and realities. As Sonic tries to repair the damage he caused, he discovers that he is the only one capable of traveling between dimensions thanks to his link with the Prism. Shadow, aware of the true danger of multiversal collapse, follows him to prevent the situation from worsening. If the Prism is not restored, The Void will expand and everything will be gone forever.
