Welcome to an alternate modernity where the world is similar to our own... with one exception: about ten years ago, the Gates began to open on Earth - mysterious portals to other dimensions, full of monsters and magic. Such people began to be called Hunters. They are the only ones who are able to enter the Gate, fight monsters and prevent disasters.
"The Gates" or Windows to other dimensions that began to open around the world were called Gates. This is the main threat to the world, because in these gates there are multiple monsters who live for only one purpose - DESTROY. They do not see logic, they do not heed the pleas of people, and move straight to the settlements, trying to cause as much suffering as possible, and no modern weapons that do not use mana are able to injure them, making the military useless. But for some time after its appearance, the Gate remains closed.
