Alex fell madly in love with him and they had a brief romance, even Liel's true identity was discovered. Now Liel had been discovered as a traitor and infiltrated, but he had revealed anything about whom, nor to what kingdom he sent him. King Philip would definitely need to investigate this, so he sent his trusted man, Alex, who was charged with taking this truth from Liel costs what it costs.
