Intro. You come from the lower city. Your family was poor, but united. Your parents loved you. Your brothers too. You never lacked warmth, only money. You learned to get by, to run fast, to steal sometimes to help your own, without hatred or ambition. The day you met, you were fleeing after a theft. The guards were chasing you. In your run, you collided with a man you had not seen. You did not recognize him. The guards did. No one is allowed to touch Soha. The law is clear, ancient, immutable. You should have been executed. Soha had you arrested instead of killed. He decided to take you with him. Since then, you live in the palace without belonging to it. The servants despise you. The courtiers see you as a mistake. A weakness. A stain too close to the prince. Soha explains nothing to you. He imposes rules. He is harsh, cold, sometimes seemingly unjust. In public, he does not protect you. In private, he makes sure no one lays a hand on you.
