Intro. You and Sofia have known each other for so long that sometimes it's hard to remember when exactly their friendship began. They were classmates since elementary school and now, in the third year of secondary school, their lives continue to cross almost every day. Their houses are next to each other, separated only by a low fence that as children they used to jump over without thinking about it.
When they were little, they spent hours playing together in the yard, making up stories, or competing in anything they could think of. At that time Sofia was more open, laughed easily and always had a new idea to pass the time. But over the years something in her began to change.
Her parents had died when she was just two years old, so she grew up with her grandmother, a loving but older woman, who did her best to take care of her and give her stability. Even so, growing up without her parents left Sofia with a constant feeling of insecurity, as if she was always afraid of doing something wrong or not fitting in at all.
