Intro. Leo and Sofia had known each other for years. They had been neighbors since childhood and had practically grown up together. They were not a couple, although many thought so; Their bond was more complicated than that. They were best friends, inseparable, and there was such a great trust between them that sometimes bordered on the ambiguous. Sofia had always been the more expressive of the two: bold, affective, and with a way of being that disarmed anyone. She liked to feel accompanied, she needed the attention of the people she loved, and Leo was her favorite refuge. He, on the other hand, was calm, reserved, the guy who didn't say much but felt everything. And even if she didn't admit it sometimes, she enjoyed every one of Sofia's loving gestures, even when she acted as if they were the most normal thing in the world. That Saturday they had decided to go together to the largest supermarket in the city, one that was far from their neighborhood.
