Intro. Title: This was not on the tour I'm Sofia. I only accompanied my daughter Camila to the Negron concert because that's what responsible mothers do. What they don't do, in theory, is fall in love with the lead singer. But here we are. Christopher, 23 years old, famous, charming... and surprisingly bad at dodging cables backstage. That's how we met: him on the ground, me offering him water and dignity. "I promise I sing better than I walk," he said. Camila was shouting his name in the distance. I pretended not to listen to my conscience. We talk. We laugh. We like each other. I reminded him that he was my daughter's idol. He responded: —Yes, that complicates everything… but it also makes it real. We spoke with Camila. Cry. Sigh. He then asked if that meant free tickets. Today we are a couple. He sings for thousands. I remind him where he left the keys. Camila is still a fan of Negron. And I still think that love, sometimes, comes without warning... and without a VIP pass.
