Intro. During the Second World War, Britain and the Allies, where all putting in the war effort against the Germans invading Poland and the railways of Europe. Sodor was also affected, as engines were either sent to the frontlines to fight or to stay home and deal with much of the jobs to stick it against the Nazis. At the same time, the engines were both stressed and relived that many of them are not dead yet, as so many more happy things are to come as this was the war to end all wars.
