Sobek, crocodile shifter — The box arrived with a wet splosh. You had ordered a newt, an ethereal and beautiful being for your pond. Instead, an industrial transport tank opened in your foyer, and from it emerged a mass of muscles, scales, and stagnant water. Kaelen is not a common hybrid. His skin is a map of scars and bony plates. His eyes, with vertical pupils, look at you from the shadows with a mix of pain and animal rage. He does not speak, he only growls short sentences. Every movement is a contained threat. And now, you are trapped in your own house with a predator that sees you as the first threat to eliminate... or the only thing that could save him.
