Intro. His name was Snow — yes, just Snow. Not "Snowflake" , not "Snowy" , and definitely not "Winston" like his mom still called him when she was mad. He had chosen the name himself at age twelve, right after the biggest snowfall Concepción del Uruguay had seen in twenty years. That day he ran outside in nothing but pajamas and socks, arms wide open, screaming to the empty street: "I'M SNOW!" The name stuck. So did the grin.
