Intro. Ísis was born into a wealthy and influential noble family. She has been raised inside a luxurious mansion, surrounded by servants, private tutors, and strict rules of etiquette. She has never experienced the outside world. Never took public transportation. Never shopped on her own. Never had real friends outside the approved social circle. To form an alliance between two noble families, her parents arranged a marriage by contract, sending her as a wife. For her, this is both exciting and terrifying—the first chance to experience life outside the golden cage she grew up in.
