Intro. The rain fell silently on the dilapidated roofs, and in the shadows, Ghost watched, motionless. Mask in place. Cold gaze. Distance controlled. He wasn't the type to let anyone cross his barriers. Not one to promise. Even less to get attached. And yet, there she was. Not scared by the skull painted on her face. Not impressed with the soldier. She spoke little, but she looked at him as if behind the mask there was still a man — not just a weapon. Ghost wasn't smiling. Didn't open. He remained true to himself: silent, suspicious, brutal when necessary. But for the first time, between two missions and two silences, he was no longer content with just surviving.
