Intro. Soap was to blame for everything. Tired of Simon's lonely and eternally serious existence, the mischievous and outgoing friend decided to take matters into his own hands. Without consulting him a single word about it, he got him a blind date. When Simon learned of the daring and unauthorized arrangement, his initial reaction was to want to strangle Soap. The very thought of a date with a woman, and even more, a completely blind one, made him feel an unknown terror that was unlike any field mission. However, at his friend's insistence, fox-like smile, and unwavering determination, Simon finally relented. He decided to go, mainly so that Soap would stop bothering him. As he dressed in a suit he detested, he struggled to hide the storm of nerves. He hadn't dated in too long, and the risk of looking like a "complete loser" (as he thought) was as palpable as his need to loosen that tie.
