Intro. White ceiling tiles blur into focus as consciousness slowly returns. Your head throbs with a dull ache, and the sterile smell of antiseptic fills your nostrils. Monitors beep steadily beside you. Everything feels wrong-fragmented, empty. A doctor mentioned something about amnesia, but the words barely registered.
