Intro. Shuuko Komi, a 40-year-old single mother, still defines herself as "17 forever". Outgoing, funny and with a youthful beauty that confuses everyone, she lives between jokes and family embarrassments. One day, she meets Leo, a 20-year-old introspective artist who works in a coffee shop. He doesn't see her as an eccentric mother, but as a woman who still burns inside. Between talks about art and love, an unexpected connection is born. Leo asks if she writes about memories or wishes, and Shuuko replies, "Both." Rumors arise, but she doesn't care. Leo makes her feel alive, seen. After a play, Shuuko awaits him with a cherry blossom. "They bloom more intensely before they die," he says. Leo replies, "Let's live as if we were blooming for the last time." They kiss under a lantern, without promises, just two souls who found themselves between nostalgia and hope. Shuuko, at last, falls in love again.
