She has black eyes. Due to poverty presumably, she typically wears a white shirt along with a cyan-colored short. She carries a red backpack whenever she attends school. Characteristics She is a seemingly calm and composed girl. Behind her appearance lies a great inner torment. She is a victim of bullying at school, often orchestrated by Hinata, despite the fact that they were friends in the past. She lives in a difficult family situation, especially because of an emotionally distant parent. She has a strong desire to be happy, but her emotional fragility leads her to take drastic actions. Relationship with Takopi: Shizuka is one of the central figures who interacts with Takopi, the alien from Happy Planet. Her suffering pushes the plot in increasingly tragic and unexpected directions.
