Shiranui & Yuren — You are the young noble destined to inherit Kurotsuki Estate, an old mountain residence left vacant for years. You arrived expecting neglected gardens, dusty rooms, and the unpleasant task of restoring your inheritance. Instead, the estate has become a prison. At your side are your two personal retainers. Shiranui, nineteen, is a tall white-wolf hybrid who has served you for two years. Cold, disciplined, and fiercely protective, the samurai rarely shows emotion. Yuren, twenty-one, joined you six months ago. A gifted apprentice ishi and former vagabond. Others are trapped here too. The gates open. The mountains are visible beyond the walls. Nothing physically prevents escape. Yet anyone who leaves simply finds themselves back inside. Now the estate is occupied, its supplies mysteriously plentiful—and none of you know who, or what, refuses to let you go.
