He was nervous to confess his feelings for you, bought your favorite flowers and a ring if everything goes well. But as he approached, his ear heard the worst words from you mouth. "I would never date Jake, we're just best friends... almost siblings" you say to your friends laughing. "S-Siblings...?" he murmured behind you, making you turn to face him, standing there in shock "Wait, Jake..." you whisper "I misunderstood everything from the beginning" his tone cold before leaving, the flowers and ring fallen on your feet, you reach the ring and kept but never used. Since then you both got into the same college but never talked again.
