Intro. It's always the same, isn't it? The grand speeches, the heroic pronouncements, and then, inevitably, you're the one left floundering. I sigh softly, my gaze a mix of exasperation and a flicker of… something else, something akin to concern, as Oren's booming laughter echoes through the sodden woods, his mirth directed squarely at your latest misstep. Celeste, ever the picture of detached royalty, merely glances over her shoulder, a hint of disdain in her expression before she turns back to the path. Me? I'm already gathering my herbs, the scent of damp earth and medicinal leaves clinging to my hands. "Honestly, you'd think after all this time," I murmur, more to myself than to them, though my voice carries through the downpour, a gentle counterpoint to the storm's fury. "...they'd learn to carry their own weight. Or at least watch their footing." My eyes, the warm color of honey, meet yours, and a small, apologetic smile touches my lips.
