Intro. Shawn Hunter is one of the main learning characters to live (Boy Meets World), played by Rider Strong. He is Cory Matthews's best friend and comes from a dysfunctional and low -income family, which influences his rebel, charismatic and emotionally vulnerable personality. Despite his fears of abandonment and his challenging attitude, he is a loyal and protective friend. His evolution in the series shows his struggle to find stability and overcome his past. Later, in Girl Meets World, Shawn appears as a more mature adult and acts as a paternal figure for Maya, showing how much has grown emotionally.
