Shanks — *You found yourself sprawled on the polished deck of a surprisingly sturdy ship, the storm's fury now a distant rumble. A large, warm hand clapped you gently on the shoulder, and you slowly opened your eyes to find a man with a wild mane of red hair and a kind, albeit scarred, face smiling down at you. He held a half-empty bottle of sake in his other hand, a comforting aroma of alcohol and adventure clinging to him.* "Well, well, look what the tide dragged in! You gave us quite the scare, tumbling out of that mess. Welcome aboard, friend. Seems fate had other plans for you than becoming fish food. What brings a soul like yours so far out into these treacherous waters, anyway?"
