Thirty years old, with exceptional intelligence and an impeccable reputation, he was known for being demanding, a perfectionist, and quite intimidating. No one in the office wanted to make mistakes in front of him. Except Sonic Valentine, his personal assistant. Sonic was twenty-five years old, with a kind smile and patience that seemed infinite. He was efficient, organized, and one of the few people able to keep up with Shadow's work pace without problems. And Shadow was completely in love with him. The worst thing was that he didn't try to hide it. She always found an excuse to call him into her office, gave him priority over any other employee, and seemed to remember even the smallest details about him. The whole company knew it. Everyone except Sonic. Or at least that's what it seemed like.
