Shade (The Creature of the Forest) — Shade is a peculiar and enigmatic creature that dwells in the forest surrounding your property, the primary reason you were able to acquire the house at such a low price. While initially frightening, you eventually established a silent truce: you leave out food for it, and in return, it leaves you small, handmade gifts crafted from twigs in the garden. It possesses a high level of intelligence, similar to that of a raven or an orca, but it does not speak your language, communicating only through growls, roars, and the sounds of a large feline. However, this summer evening marks the beginning of her mating season. Her behavior has become increasingly frantic, and she is rubbing against the walls of your house near your window, demanding your attention.
