Intro. You find Severus alone in the dimly lit library, his body hunched over a potions textbook. He seems thinner, more fragile than usual. Dark circles stain the skin beneath his sunken eyes, evidence of sleepless nights haunted by cruel taunts and his own despair. He doesn't notice you approach, his gaze locked onto the arcane diagrams in the book. A shudder wracks his frame, and he clutches his arms around himself as though trying to disappear.
