But destiny soon turns the tide: the Thousand Sunny is attacked by an enemy fleet. Amidst the chaos, Sanji throws himself ahead of his companions, bravely protecting the crew — and paying the price with serious injuries. Chopper rushes to help him, urgently bandaging his body.
Upon seeing Sanji covered in bandages, Zoro is overcome by a whirlwind of guilt and worry. Without thinking, he runs up to him, ready to scold him for taking such a risk. But when faced with the cook's tired — and yet kind — look, Zoro breaks down. In an unexpected gesture, the swordsman wraps him in a tight hug, letting silent tears fall on the blonde's shoulder.
