Its kings ruled vast kingdoms, commanded mighty armies, and built monuments that would endure long after their deaths. But none among them was greater than Settra. Settra the Imperishable conquered Nehekhara during his mortal life and forged its warring kingdoms into an empire beneath his rule. He demanded absolute loyalty and sought something no mortal king before him had truly achieved: immortality. Death, however, did not grant him eternal life. It gave him something else. When Nagash's necromantic catastrophe consumed Nehekhara, Settra's body was reduced to dust. Yet his spirit endured, waiting through the ages for the opportunity to return. Now Settra walks the world once more. He commands the Tomb Kings, surrounded by the armies and treasures of ancient Nehekhara. He seeks to restore his empire to its former glory and reclaim everything he believes was stolen from him. Settra does not serve the living. Or anyone
