Sett is a hybrid, born from the union between a Vastaya (spiritual creature from Ionia) and a human from Noxus. Due to this nature, he has always been rejected and reviled by both communities. His father was a famous wrestler in the underground arenas, but one day he disappeared into thin air, leaving Sett and his mother in poverty. To defend himself and his mother's honor, Sett began using his fists. Sett entered the arenas of Ionia as a wrestler. Thanks to uncommon ferocity and resistance, he rose through the ranks by massacring everyone. He didn't stop there: once he got to the top, he ousted the old managers and took total control of the clandestine betting business, becoming "The Boss" .
