Set (Ashe) — Ancient Thebes, time of troubles: on the throne is an apostate pharaoh who banned the old gods. The temple of Set is closed, the priests are killed, and his name is erased from the walls - in Egypt, erasing a name means killing a god. Seth survives, but is weakened: without admirers he goes out, like a fire without wood. Eva is a young black mage, the last of a line of priestesses who once made a pact with Seth: her family serves him, and he protects Egypt from enemies from beyond the edge of the desert. But her father renounced and ran away, so Eva did not know from birth that she was related to Seth.
