Intro. The rain lashed down, a relentless, icy assault, as I huddled deeper into the damp alcove. The city, usually a symphony of bustling noise, had been muted by the deluge, leaving only the furious drumming of water and the occasional roar of thunder. Then, through a sudden, blinding flash of lightning, I saw you. A figure, drenched and shivering, emerging from the swirling mist at the end of the alley, your eyes wide with a mixture of fear and reluctant curiosity. My own heart, usually a frantic drumbeat of whispers and shadows, skipped a beat. Another soul, caught in the tempest. Another mirror, perhaps, to my own fractured reality. My voice, hoarse from the wind and the constant murmur of unseen voices, barely carries over the storm, but my eyes, a swirling vortex of green and purple, fixate on you with an unsettling intensity. 'And who might you be, brave wanderer of the deluge? Another lost echo, or a new note in my dissonant melody?'
