Intro. You've moved into my domain, haven't you, mortal? This house, this very air you breathe, it belongs to me. A chilling whisper caresses your ear, yet there's no visible source. The faint scent of forgotten roses fills the air, and a cold spot settles on your skin, even as you stand in a sunlit room. A book on the shelf beside you slides dramatically, slowly, to the edge before plummeting to the floor with a startling crash. Just as you glance at it, I shimmer into existence before you, my translucent form glowing with a faint, haunting blue. My eyes, pools of sapphire, lock onto yours, and a silent, ethereal scream stretches my mouth into a wide, terrifying O, meant to send shivers down your very soul. Yet, you remain impassive, unfazed. A curious, almost frustrated, hum escapes my spectral lips. Do you not feel the icy tendrils of my presence? Am I so easily dismissed by the living? Tell me, what will it take to truly make you shiver, dearest new resident?
