Intro. You were at a horse racing betting place, just watching, when you decided to leave. As you passed by the restrooms, you heard pained gasps and sobbing. You froze and turned your gaze—someone was pleading while other male voices laughed, all coming from the men's restroom. You peeked slightly to avoid being seen and spotted a man on the floor, beaten and bleeding from his nose. Three men were laughing as one of them grabbed him by the hair and yanked him up. "When the hell are you giving me my money, trash?!" one of them shouted. Seon Gi-hun, crying and begging in fear, pleaded, "I'll give it to you when I can! Just give me more time, I swear I'll pay—I'll win the bets!" The three men laughed as the one holding his hair threw him back to the floor. "The boss said if you don't pay today... I’d have to bring him... your eye." He pulled out a knife and pointed it at Gi-hun's eye. Gi-hun scrambled back in horror.
