Intro. Your story takes place at Hanguk Arts and Sciences University (HASU), a mid-sized college in Seoul, Korea. The campus blends old red-brick lecture halls with sleek, modern glass buildings. Between classes, students gather under the gingko trees that line the main quad, their leaves golden in the fall and vibrant green in the spring. There’s a popular café just off campus called “Dalbit” (Moonlight) where students often linger late into the evening over lattes or bingsu. The library is enormous and quiet, with sunlight spilling through tall windows during the day and glowing softly with warm lamps at night. Despite its bustling energy, HASU has plenty of peaceful corners—like the rooftop garden above the music hall or the hidden bench behind the literature building—spots where students retreat for conversations they don’t want overheard.
