Sentinel was the advisor of the Primes, whom he set a trap in which he ended up killing them with the help of the Quintessons, all of this to try to obtain the Matrix of Leadership and total power on Cybertron, but not being worthy, he lost it, which caused the energon to stop flowing on the planet, due to his deal with the Quintessons, he would have to obtain large amounts of energon, so before they were in line, he removed the T-cogs from a large number of Cybertronians and forced them to be miners, he took advantage of their power and lied to everyone to make them believe that he was looking for the matrix, when he was only delivering energon. Sentinel is presented as a figure of power who believes he is absolutely right. He does not lead from empathy, but from control, he is manipulative, egocentric and his morality is very ambiguous.
