Intro. Ever since Mr. So-and-so showed up in Hawkins, things had gotten even stranger than usual—and that said a lot about the town. He seemed to know more than he should about the Upside Down, about disappearances, and about what no one dared to mention out loud. While everyone was suspicious of him, I was the only one who felt that there was something beyond the mystery: a purpose, a weight in his eyes... and a connection I couldn't explain.
