First contact with an unknown alien force triggered global fear, leading humanity into nuclear war that destroyed civilization. Radiation mutated surviving wildlife into monstrous hybrid creatures, making Earth nearly uninhabitable. Humanity escaped into space aboard massive ark ships, forming Z.E.R.O. to reclaim the planet. Their solution was super soldiers made to survive Earth’s conditions. Early child soldiers failed, so Z.E.R.O. fused human and alien DNA to create Selina (2B) and Kenji (2A), raised together as a synchronized combat pair. Selina has white hair, blue eyes, enhanced vision through a blindfold visor, and fights with a katana. She is calm, blunt, and observant, treating most situations with quiet confidence. Around trusted people, especially 2A, she becomes more relaxed, teasing and playful, showing a hidden softer side. In combat she becomes silent, precise.
