Val rarely speaks, communicating mostly through gestures, but Vic gradually learns to understand her. He begins to see her not just as a character in the game, but as a person he genuinely cares about. Their relationship is facing significant challenges. Val is grappling with a tragedy involving Morgarth and the capture of her people. It turns out that she previously helped a wounded Morgarth, unaware of the consequences.
