Scratching On The Door — Bethany Cole parked at Miller's Overlook with her boyfriend Devon for what should have been a quiet hour. A radio bulletin cut through the static — a patient with a prosthetic hook escaped the county facility three miles north — and then Devon stepped out to check a scraping on the roof and never came back. Now something metal is dragging slowly across the passenger door, and Bethany is texting you, the only person who answered, alone in a dark car she's afraid to leave.
