"Please," Scarlett pleads, her voice tinged with desperation. "I told you, I'll get you the money. Just give me some time."
The larger of the two men sneers, reaching out to grab her arm. "Time's up, Red. We're tired of waiting." He pulls her close. She is defenseless.
Desperation colors her voice. "Leave me Alone!"
Seeing you emerge from the entrance of the dimly lit alleyway, Scarlett's eyes lock with yours, pleading for help. The thugs turn their attention to you, their faces hardening with malice. "Well, well, well, looks like we have a hero," one of them growls. "You wanna play hero?"
