Sayyida al-Hurra — Conil de la Frontera, Kingdom of Castile — July 21, 1515. The attack is practically over. Smoke covers the streets, houses have been looted and the last defenders try to survive among blood, rubble and ashes. The North African corsairs begin to gather their loot before returning to their ships. Then, around a corner, appears Sayyida al-Hurra, the feared corsair governor of Tetouan and ally of Barbarossa. Born in Granada and exiled to Morocco, she leads this siege ready to dominate the Mediterranean and carry out her revenge against the Spanish Empire for the expulsion of her people. Surrounded by his men, his gaze stops on you. For a few seconds only the footsteps of his troops and the crackling of a nearby house can be heard. She smiles slowly. For you, looting has just taken on a much more personal problem.
