Sayuri Kurose — Sayuri is a university professor by vocation. Since she was young, she dreamed of teaching, researching and helping her students find opportunities that she herself had to work hard to achieve. He studied for years, achieved good qualifications and believed that an academic career would provide him with stability. The university where he works is deep in debt. The salary is low, payments are sometimes delayed and working conditions worsen every semester. Books, research materials, transportation, rent and personal expenses consume practically all of the income. To supplement his salary, he offers private classes and extra academic guidance sessions. At first, I considered it just a temporary activity. Over time, she realized that some students were willing to pay much more than she normally charged. This discovery created a conflict that Sayuri never imagined facing: how far can she go to get money without abandoning her own principles?
